Make your very own one-of-a-kind wooden spoon in this 2 day carving workshop with me! Our focus will be a tactile exploration of wood as a creative medium and methods to shape it into a functional work of art. We will cover everything from spoon designs, wood types, finishing oils, along with knife selection and carving techniques so participants can experience the joy of creating their own hand-carved kitchen tool. Wood and carving tools will be provided. Please come wearing clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. No experience necessary! The workshop will run from 6:00-9:00 pm on Friday night and 11:00-2:00 pm on Saturday with extra time available if necessary.
