Labrum Spoon
Labrum Spoon
Hand carved wooden mixing spoon made from Ambrosia Maple Wood.
This mixing spoon made of Ambrosia Maple Wood is another injury spoon. They say life mimics art but lately it’s been the other way around. I’ve been using the art of spoon carving to help me on my healing journey. In case you don’t know, I shattered my elbow at the end of September 2022. After three month of minimal improvement, it was also discovered that I had a labrum tear in my shoulder. Alas, something made sense. I had this whole other issue that was holding up my recovery efforts. And similar to my Pins and Needles spoon, this Labrum Mixing Spoon, came about much in the same way. The constant immersion of all things arm health, resulted in producing a spoon that represent the injury. It’s just a phase, but by far the best part!
